Shelley lives in Idaho with her husband of 31 years and her black lab, Lola.

She and her husband Chris raised three wonderful, adventurous sons and one creative, beautiful daughter. She is a Meemaw to her 2-year-old grandson, Rhett and a Rah-Rah to her two-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter, Reese.

Her life is full of family, fun, celebrations, loudness and love. Shelley has a heart for other women and her hope is that her writings will inspire them to love themselves without limit, lighten up and enjoy the journey a little more. Shelley was her husband’s caregiver throughout treatment, including a bone marrow transplant, for an aggressive type of leukemia.

She also wrote a book about this journey and is active with the Be The Match program which aids in helping other patients find a stem cell donor.
